NSW on the whole was down on crime stats over the past 10 to 15 years. However, the west and inner west of Sydney is the anomaly.
Drive by shootings have been increasing every year. They increased by 40% in 2012 to 100 for the year. It looks as though 2013 will be a record with 72 drive-by shootings and 8 deaths.
Of course, this is not confined to just one race or religion because we know there are caucasian bikies as well as ethnic bikies.
However, European stats show that this will only increase and numbers have spiked over the past 3 years in the west of Sydney. Australia is now starting to replicate Europe. It is only a matter of time before things get much worse.
Last year it was reported that the The shootings were mainly concentrated around Canterbury-Bankstown, central western Sydney and Fairfield-Liverpool, areas of Sydney.
