Cairn more or less confirmed this by answering a question like this on email earlier this year (BTW, APCL = African Petroleum):
Based on Cairn`s recent discoveries and considering the prospects of APCL in the same areas it is interesting if Cairn Energy considers these to be possible investment opportunities ?
