I get the impression that Scott is the consumate diplomat and therefore avoiding straight answers is likely to be one of his strengths. Are there other directors who are more likely to let slip some home truths? It may be worth trying to corner them.

I always try for the finance guys - they usually feel a little unloved and like company....
