I am sorry I will never understand these people!
LUM VCR and now it's HDR. have you never heard of money management, stop-loss, loss taking? at a certain point, you realize that your beloved share is heading downwards. that's when you sell!
you don't worry about announcements, meetings, future potential. the price is going down, you sell. don't you realize that the price is the only thing about a share that's honest? surely you don't think what the brokers or the experts or heaven forbid - the directors are telling you is the truth?
you can always buy back in again, when the price goes up & there are signs of a trend-change (in simple terms, more than one or two consecutive highs). chances are, by that time you will have found something else more promising to fall in love with.
but they'll never learn. they'll still argue about LUM when it's down to 5 cents. VCR & HDR when they're a dollar.
let us be more specific: the writing was on the wall when HDR fell under $2. even if you paid top price, you would only have lost 10% or thereabouts. now all you have to do is watch them. when they show signs of a turnaround, you'll get in well below where you sold.
that's what it's all about, not all this endless bickering.
