Subject: First gas rig headed for NSW coast
Dear Debra
Your article is misinformed. Your article states:
"The announcement, made to the Australian Stock Exchange, comes just weeks after the Labor candidates in two marginal central coast federal seats, Craig Thomson and Deborah O'Neill, said during the election campaign that they had successfully forced the company to withdraw its application to start drilling."
The company withdraw its application before Craig Thomson and Deborah O'Neill had ever heard of the drilling.
The link below shows the applications were withdrawn on 14/5/10 and 1/7/10
http://www.environment.gov.au/cgi-bin/epbc/epbc_ap.pl?name=public_notifications&limit=730&text_search=asset+energy
They were withdrawn because their approval date had ceased and because the company changed its drill location.
Your article simply spreads misinformation and the self-promotion lies of these unethical politicians
Personally, I have always been a Labor voter but this election withdrew my support due to the dishonesty of the Labor members
Try to present accurate information please.
Kind regards
DD
