I remember we talked about this here a year or two back, Scoto, in as much as the Israeli government treating the Palestinian's much like the Nazi's treated the Jews during WW11; made worse by the ultra-Right Israeli government of Netanyahu. I could never get my head around that, given what the Jews had experienced. And while I abhor the latest atrocities by Hamas killing and kidnapping civilians, no one should be surprised that the Palestinians would ultimately go on the warpath.
