To be fair to JH the oil price had not tanked at the time of his demise.
I believe his fault was delving into too many prospects simultaneously and suspect that in reflection can see that error pretty clearly.
I concur he had his go and imagine he pretty clearly recognises that situation has passed him by also
But
a big credit for his vision to put together a bunch of tenements that geologically may just verify his logic and massive forsight.
Without him CTP would be no where near as attractive as it is...potentially!
Cottee without doubt had recognised the tenements were largely gas proned and opportunist definciency on the east coast after the oil price tanked.
Just a feeble attempt to put things as I see them having been in the puddle for one helluva long time
