Further to the interesting technical discussion between Moosey and Solarfeen there are some other aspects to the purchase of the BP plant in Sydney:

1) proximity to Uni NSW which is likely lead to collaboration, now under wraps but apparently live
2) Silex picks up some of BP's solar team
3) legislation pending re feed-in solar tariffs.

I might add that in a private discussion with the CEO three years ago he said his ambition was to lift Translucent's materials to 70-80%. There have been a few twists adnd turns since then and changes of personnel so the comment was just a comment, but given his general credibility it gives an idea of the technical road map Silex has sketched out in solar performance.

Also the market shouldn't ignore the "photonic chip" steadily moving forward with an announcement expected late this year from memory.
