I don't think there is rights trading any more.

In the old days you could sell your rights on market or buy rights. It could give a lot of leverage to rights holds as the rights price went up and down the same as the SP.

It was very messy though, I bought some rights once in Povey Corp not intending to exercise them, just trade, and the broker wanted the application money too.

I think what they do now, is if you don't take up your rights, the company puts them up for auction to instos. They bid and the Company gives you the money which should be SP ex entiltement less $5.75.

Dougie didn't take up his rights and got $7.40 less $5.75 per right. $1.65
