mal the difference between a company like EQX compared to SDL is that EQX doesn't need outside assistance to get it to production. SDL became a play thing because the company had no other options. There was no way in the World SDL could get to production by itself, and no-one wanted a JV either because it was cheaper for suitors to take the company over, so the only option left was a T/O. EQX can get to production itself, so why would holders roll over for a low ball T/O? This is especially the case now EQX has mentioned the lower CAPEX intensity fast track start up option that is now being pushed.
