The real issue is Labor's gradual switch away from the Israel camp to the Muslim camp is the disturbing thing.
It's particularly disturbing because it shows what a weak politician Albo is. No central position, he blows in the wind.
Once he would have been in the mainstream of standing by Israel, holding back as it does a tidal wave of Muslim extremism, best exemplified in the disturbed ravings of the leadership in Iran.
But now, always the base politician, never the man of principle, he increasingly leans to the Arab world knowing that he needs a string of Muslim dominated seats in Sydney, Melbourne and elsewhere to stay in power.
Between now and next May you can expect him to push his new position ever more radically as he becomes more desperate to cling wreckage.
How telling it is that Benjamin Netanyahu has had to turn the spotlight on him as an example of once true supporters who have gone over the wall.
