I'm an old, clapped out multi-generational Aussie who still believes in a fair go and justifiable wars. My father and both brothers fought in the mud of the Great War, my oldest brother got his wings in the RAAF in WWII but their war had already wrapped up, by then it was just US B 29s. next oldest was seconded from the RAAF to US airfield construction seabees[?] before our army was there. The other two of us served without hearing a shot fired in anger. I am not stealing any valour.
I do, however, have a right to an opinion and that is that enemies must be defeated, even those cowering behind their women and children.
