This information was gleaned in 5 minutes of reading the Syniverse page in Wikipedia. Not VERY hard at all.

I rememeber spending 5 minutes on the Singtel website and that was enough for me to be impressed as well.

Spending 5 minutes on the Carlyle Group website was also VERY impressive. I do not know if this is meaningful, in a price sensitive sense, to MBE immediately; but I am impressed with the massive growth they have achieved in a relatively short time. They bought Syniverse in 2011 and Syniverse bought a specialist Mobile Tech company in 2013.

This group are obviously planning to make $$$$ out of the mobile tech revolution/evolution. They know that the growth in DCB is going to be spectacular in the next 5 years and beyond. They have just signed an agreement with MBE.

I cant see the downside, sorry.

Dont forget that MBE have been hammering away at mobile advertising for 10 years approx. They have a lot of experience, contacts and IP. They are in the sweet spot right now as they enter these overseas markets.

You said: "Isn't not an instant win. It just means it's a little easier for MBE to get approval for Convey by the individual telco's."

From my discussions with MBE at the AGM, the time and resources it takes to become accredited to integrate with the carriers billing system is massive. The carriers do not let anyone into their innermost sanctum without a substantial amount of due diligence.

It is now a LOT easier to access large telcos in Europe and Asia through Syniverse. This is not an insignificant company to be aligned with.

At the AGM last year MBE stated a goal to have access to 150million mobile subscribers. I see this as another step in reaching and surpassing that goal.

Since then MBE have become aligned with:
Singtel (integrating now, expecting $$$$ soon)
Sprint ( integrating delayed in order to access a much larger part of the USA market through a connectivity partner, expecting conclusion this year)
Syniverse ( just happen to be owned by one of the largest, fastest growing diversified firms in the World)

Imagine the work that has gone into developing these agreements, pretty impressive.

It is helpful to know what the macro picture looks like. This looks like a very stable base to launch from. The institutions that invested in the recent cap raise should be impressed, they are not naive enough to expect these international plans to happen overnight.

Some punters are losing patience, so maybe they have not done their research and they just listen to the hype.

An interesting few YEARS coming up for MBE.

    DYOR, no research is wasted.
