Of course they do. If their product is going to run on their hardware, it has to be approved.
Syniverse isn't going to deploy Convey for MBE. If it were, the announcement would have said something like "Syniverse becomes reseller of Convey".
Instead the announcement said, "Convey to be integrated with Syniverse".
This gives Convey greater reach, because Convey doesn't need mobipay - which requires a lot of hurdles to jump before it can be deployed onto a Telco's hardware. That means where Syniverse is used, Convey can be deployed without going through those hurdles.
Isn't not an instant win. It just means it's a little easier for MBE to get approval for Convey by the individual telco's.
