article in the NBR this morning saying some former directors of Ebert construction, which had the Tetra Pak contract to build Synlait's Pokeno plant, have formed a new company to take over the contract. This is important as it has been said previously by an industry expert that Ebert were the experts in the production of dairy dryers and had manufactured nearly all dryers built in NZ in the last 20 years. Said person also said it would be very difficult to replace this expertise at short notice. So good for Synlait that TetraPak have come up with a solution and it will likely be built as specced and on time
