I thought the likeliest announcement would be capital raise but it is sounding like Synlait is too far gone for this option alone to save them..
Seems they've been granted a temporary financing extension on the proviso that they plan not only for capital raising, but also for selling off other assets that weren't on the table. The only thing not yet on the chopping block is Dunsandel.
I really can't tell at this point what it all means for A2M, but as things deteriorate with Synlait, A2's cash pile is looking increasingly strategically valuable.
If Dunsandel did end up going up for sale in the next few years then it is critical for A2M to be in a position to purchase.
