Hi Tony,
One question to ask is what do we currently know about biotech companies with synergistic technology.

Phylogica has entered into a number of technology collaborations; Isogenica (fast track screening of drug discovery targets) and XL-protein GmbH (half life extension).

The collaboration with Isogenica was announced 23 February 2011. Note the following statement;
"The two companies are exploring a broader alliance to exploit the unique commercial potential of their combined technologies," said Watt.

The announcement discusses the opportunities created by the synergistic technologies including "significant new revenue opportunities".

I always wondered about the deal with Le metier de Beaute. How was it progressed? The announcement yesterday provides some answers. It also opens a door in understanding further opportunities in animal health, agriculture and industrial.

Your research on synthetic phylomers and Biacore is fascinating. I will give more thought over the next couple of days.
