My broker told me that shorters have been active in BRU because they believe that there will be a capital raising, however all indications now are that there will be no cap raising anytime soon and certainly not at these prices. All other BRU fundamentals look better than ever, with the prospects of a long list of positive news . We may be seeing the shorters starting to cover and move on , hence the current strength as they buy back shares they shorted. I follow BRU and its progress very closely , as many others do, and I can see no possible reason to short. Maybe the shorters will move on to Linc Energy as they begin their massive task of appraisal , cap raisings , and development.
