I wonder who the major carrier in Oz is?
Optus have already moved a bit in the sponsored data space and are zero-rating some content. They also have some sort of app but it is Android only. I have heard nothing about Telstra in this area.
Could Telstra be talking to Syntonic, then sign a deal and blow Optus out of the water or, could Optus realise they have a half-arsed solution (Android only) that really doesn't work very well, so they 'do a Verizon' and partner with Syntonic to use our CSP?
Either way it's a win-win for Syntonic.
