Great to see the reference to FIOS in the quarterly.
My understanding is that there is currently 5m FIOS subscribers and north of 100m Verizon mobile subscribers. The $280,000 of revenue was from the 9th March to the 31st March based on this scenario. I am certain that I read that Verizon will be offering clients on certain plans access to the FIOS app so they can watch 140 plus channels data free and that SYT's technology is critical to this happening.
It is too much of a coincidence that at the time that Verizon signed the deal with Syntonic it also resigned the deals with FIOS and CBC. It seems as though Syntonic's technology is crucial to all of his all coming together.
My question is how many of Verizon's clients will have access to the FIOS app and what impact will it have on our next quarterly figures?
20% - 20m subscribers?
35% - 35m subscribers?
The significance of this development is potentially mind blowing.
In addition, the expected release of Freeways OTT over the next 8 weeks will enable the company to hopefully sign deals direct with content providers and advertisers.
OTT is the Key....
