So where is the new supply going to go? Refractories? Steel? Foundry? Battery is not materialising at the rate expected with ~ 125,000 MT of graphite powder currently consumed for secondary battery applications and you cannot ship unqualified product to SPG processors....the graphite market is in supply / demand equilibrium and the only way to move that level of product is drop prices below market, hope the competition does not respond and capitulates, and half of the producing graphite mines close due to the sheer omnipotence (not quality) of SYR graphite production...
