The industry is mostly shooting itself in the foot with graphite flake. With prices still relatively low to historical no mines will be built outside China in the foreseeable future which will eventually lead to a massive supply crunch. I am thinking end of this year and next year we will see shortages in graphite flake. Synthetic will grow but is horribly polluting with a large carbon footprint when countries are trying to cut back on carbon emissions.
