@B1904 other sources. They're already making carbon for Sodium Ion batteries instead of using Lithium because the sodium ions are much larger and don't fit between the graphite layers which I posted about last week or so. They're very low density batteries however but work well in extreme cold conditions. They'll use them for the storage market in places like Siberia, Northern China, Northern Canada etc.

There isn't too much technical info about the new Farasis battery's, but they're still using Lithium so maybe, just a guess, the silicon nano wires might fit between the layers of the carbon with the Lithium ions inside them. It might be how they are trying to control the swelling of the nano wires which is the main problem using silicon nano wires.
