Initially the data point I was most interested in was EV sales. Considering the amazing demand for Tesla and other EVs my brain has moved on to the next important metric to watch. OEMs have reporting season coming up. I wonder if we might see information that indicates downward pressure on ICE sales? Used car sales in the US are coming down from their peaks while inventory is up. I wonder how quickly people will stop buying ICE vehicles, my suspicion is it will be a lot quicker that analysts are predicting.
