Short positions dropped by 10M shares on the 22nd of Aug based on Shortman. How is this possible given the traded volume was 2M??
Was there an error in reporting (someone forgot to submit their short positions), do they intend not to cover and therefore they are no longer short but in fact sold, was there an off-market transfer to cover some positions? Any other ideas??
