Be aware that shorter's winning rate is 50:50, according to statistics. They are not the smarter ones nor they have more info. As I said before, the peak of the shorts often occurs when the stock SP is at the bottom, a proof for the above statement. They make money on the downside but loss on the upside period.
The last bottom was around 20c in early 2020 (covid-19 panic). The graphite price was around $300 from my memory. SYR has developed significantly since then, grants, off-takes with majors etc. I would think that 50c should be is very close to the bottom. I was wrong when it was 70c and I might be wrong again.
