    Exactly. The Gross short number (ASX) must be equal to or greater than the ASIC number. In your case, 1million (ASX) is higher than -100K (ASIC).

    However this is very rarely the case. Most stocks have a GROSS increase of less than 0.1% but many have larger increase on ASIC.

    Record a few ASX numbers down and wait four days to see the ASIC numbers. They don't align at all.
