Not sure if anyone can explain how the shorters return stock? Using the 12 Feb Shortman shows shorts dropped by about 11.3M shares, however, overall trading volume was 11.8M for the day. Surely the shorters weren't responsible for buying 96% of the daily volume??
Possibly returning borrowed but unused shares?
