The whole article is misleading considering Tesla, especially in the US was the only game in town. As the competition ramps up you would expect Tesla's overall market share to drop. Saying the competition sales skyrocketed by 105% is rather mellow dramatic. You'd want to hope so. They only produced a handful last February.

It's all about total sales. We don't want to see brands pinching buyers off each other but instead complimenting each other. More EV's on the road, the greater the interest from people who don't have one.

We should see a dramatic increase in Tesla sales in the US when their Texas mega factory opens. The problem is producing enough cars to meet demand. Not selling them.
