Plenty of different ways of calculating the differential, but per my spreadsheet which takes in the tax effect of the capital gain, I reckon the differential is out to around 20% at the moment. ie by buying CSE at 35.5c you are getting into SYR at $4.50 approx. The two do not run in tandem but are often near parity, the differential has been as low as 3-4%. Reckon CSE are not a bad bet at the minute....if you think CS are right in theri assumptions.
