Good comment, Heatseeker. But if you look at the pictures of the topography, you will see two things:
First, the slopes are quite gentle: 10 - 15 degrees, perhaps? Nothing like 45 degrees.
Second, the crux of the problem is that TON have said they are focusing on the Mutola zone - and there is very little elevation change in a few tens of metres either side of that zone. The assumption that it is flat doesn't invalidate the argument at all.
