Due to the large institutional holding on the register (approx 55% I believe) - the shorts will begin closing long before news is released to the masses.
A squeeze will happen IMO only if there is something leftfield "they" don't already know about. For example: if RIO TINTO decided it wanted to fully integrate the whole of the battery supply chain - and own the worlds largest resource of high purity Natural Graphite by buying Syrah - thus guaranteeing exclusivity to the USA market. Now is the time to put an offer in. IT would have to get past Aus Super first though....
That being said - I do like your long list of positives to look forward to.
