ryan4321, There's lot to like about SYR as you say.
Long time holder here, and have followed the story , since formation.
There is no doubt the shorters have had a big influence on price, coupled with stop loss settings, and the fact that shareholders like me are non sellers.
Anyway I am confident about the future .
On the flipside, I came across this article from Nelson Research a Toronto based company formed in 2015 What Do the Pivots Indicate Regarding Shares of Syrah Resources (SYAAF)?

Its final paragraph , after discussing SYAAF technical analysis indicators , it states
Syrah Resources (SYAAF)’s TrendSpotter Opinion, the signal from Trendspotter, a Barchart trend analysis system that uses wave theory, market momentum & volatility in an attempt to find a general trend, is Sell.

I am not into Technical analysis, though I would think that some comment in their analysis should mention the fact that company shares have been heavily shorted.

A company close to the action is CSE (4.2% holding)and it is worth noting the comments in its March Quarterly update of 28/4/17 Here
