you might wan to reread my post and what I was replying to.
I made no reference to Trump.
I was commenting on whether the USA 'would' go to war for publicity etc.. --
not commenting on whether they 'did'.
History shows us with vivid clarity that they have done in the past --- they have very much so used entry to war and staying in war for exactly that --- 'publicity' - to keep them in political power or to get them into political power.
Trump is irrelevant in the mix in my argument ---- whether he would do such a thing - I have no idea. Whether he did so or not -- I have no idea. History will more than likely tell us that in the future.
