    The operations of the Assad regime have been extensive as much as they have been brutal and the US/ global powers are insulting our intelligence with outrage over chemical weapons when it is the other clandestine weapons of war that have been used to brutal effect in this war..

    Agreed, US poisoned Asia in Vietnam, and it is really sad to see such a great power fall in to the same old trap over and over again... especially considering their formidable intelligence network

    600K dead, 14M displaced and on their way to anywhere safe including our shores

    We need to stop this war, not chemical weapons, it is the war that needs to end.. if the war ends, the people go home, rebuild and start again.. In Syria, not here

    If this escalates, I for one will not support any involvement whatsoever of Australian forces any more in the middle east enough is enough and a civil war in the middle east is just not what we are trained to fight..

    Ultimately on the international chess board of power I think this may be a covert message ahead of negotiations with Kim jong un... The USA/Trump will not simply threaten to use force against dictator regimes
