It is not our business nor our right to intervene in Syria or any other country.

In a democratic country the lawmakers and police are ultimately controlled by their electors. This stops them from becoming despots as their natural tendency would be. They would take to themselves more arbitrary power if they could.

The USA was not elected world cop. It should not be trying to solve the domestic disputes of other countries or people. There are always arguments and subtleties for both sides.

Only the people of a country have the right and responsibility to overthrow their own government.
