1. The YPG component of the SDF never rebelled against Assad's regime and has only rarely clashed.
2. Whether you like the US or not .... and you clearly don't ....... the nanosecond the US leaves Erdogan's Islamist militias will arrive and establish exactly what ISIS failed to do. .... a permanent radical Islamist state. Erdogan has essentially said it himself. I'm pretty sure you know that.
3. The Syrian Kurds are not seeking a separate nation and have never done so. To keep spreading lies to the contrary is reprehensible in current circumstances. They are seeking the level of autonomy that Wales or Scotland have within the UK. Nothing more. I'm pretty sure that you know that as well.
4. Assad's forces and the YPG are already reportedly striking Turkish interests in Idlib.
5. Russia and Iran need to stop playing stupid games. Both have what they sought to achieve and it's not time to facilitate rather than hinder Syrian reconciliation and nationhood (within any sustainable and agreeable governance structure).
