I tend to think otherwise. Syria would comfortably handle teams like Sam Marino and Malta, probably Scotland as well. England qualifies against teams like this despite the fact they are nothing more than chaff bandits themselves.. At least Australia has the ability and intestinal fortitude to galvanise at a major tournament. England just crumble, bend over and take it up the high hole.
