looks like assaad was correct. lucky that the kurds stayed out of the civil war and never actually fought against assaad - so they very quickly came to their senses and allowed the syrian army back into their lands.
the pleading from the australian woman - who was saying something about how brutal the regime was - and they need to be saved before the syrians get there.... mmmm from memory ISIS were pretty brutal.
anyway plenty of footage of kurds (and whoever) waving to the syrian army as they arrive to protect them against the turks.
some news reports that the turks are having some real problems . a vital town that was expected to fall within a couple of days - they are still fighting to gain control despite using plenty of bombs/rockets (from planes)..
Allah in two minds about that town - still deciding who to back... in the end will probably side with the victors
