I fully agree with your intro re the $$$ motivation and the destabilisation of the middle east etc.

Re trust, at this point in time I would trust presidents Putin and Xi far more than I would trust Obama and the clan. However, as this plays out the western MSM will do their best to demonise them for every move they make.

Re solving the middle east, I think it's possible. The first step would be to convert or wipe out the fundamentalist Sunni nation states, with Saudi Arabia being a top priority. If such regimes are overthrown I'm sure the moderates, the ordinary suppressed people, would be more than willing to adopt a moderate government and more westernised life style. Let's bring democracy to Saudi Arabia LOL. After all, they are going to head up the UN Human Rights Council (cough). Perhaps Russia and China can help orchestrate these changes over time.

Such moves would put a lot of pressure on the petrodollar so there will be resistance coming from you know where.
