the Catholic Church for centuries had the policy of not harming Jews, wishing to convert Jews to Christianity
you are not yet (physically) dead; even though you may be spiritually dead. You still have the opportunity to save your soul/heart and convert to (non-American-Jewish) real Buddhism or Christianity
the Buddha said those who join his Community "lose their former names", which means you cease to be "Jewish" in religion but become a "Son of the Sakyan Sage".
the Buddha gave many teachings to Brahmin priests who believed they were exempt from the Laws of Nature (Kamma) proving they were wrong. the Laws of Nature (including Laws of Karma) apply to all people, including Brahmins, Jews & Protestants.
Jesus was the same as the Buddha, such as in the Parable of the Good Samaritan, who said being "Jewish" does not make a person righteous. Only deeds/actions (karma) make a person righteous

Buddha & Christ understand most people are SPIRITUALLY BLIND and will forgive you for past errors of judgment
