    Bookmakers' odds now strongly favour Cardiff. Ladbrokes opened betting on the venue for the final at 8-11 for Cardiff and 9-4 Wembley on Tuesday. After Multiplex's announcement that there was only a 70% of making their March 31 completion deadline, the odds went to 1-3 Cardiff and 11-5 Wembley.

    Among the firm's first bets were two for £100 on the final ending up at Cardiff from a punter living on Empire Way in Wembley.
