The Zicom Group acquired three start up companies, they are yet to generate significant revenue for the group. The vast increase in revenue of the Precise Engineering Division since year 2010 comes from Sys-Mac Automation Engineering which provides different levels of Engineering Services to cater various industries. By most~ You can think it as a contract manufacturer with a bunch of engineers. The company says their products and solutions are cost-competitive so you know what kind of products they are produsing (yes they sell into a very price sensative market), as a result, profit margin will low.
The person who runs the PE division is listed below, the group says he leads the future. As far as I can see, he under-estimated the complexity in commercialising ideas and is not focused. I don't want to guess about his personal life but the investment in biobot is a mistake, the board knew it back in 2011 but they would not admit it.
