Since you ask - I think you think like I did 30 years ago.

I was an identifier with the Israelis and a sympathiser with the holocaust victims. I read about the prejudice against jews in Europe and the US in the 30s and I thought a jewish homeland was far more worthy than an arab nomadic tribal society.

But gradually, I realised that the jews in Israel were doing what their tormentors had done to them - unforgivable to me and to many fine decent intellectual human jews in the world today.
