Hi all, just wondering how you're all going with your trading systems? Anyone created anything that is consistently profitable?

I bought the Amibroker Profession Edition and Premium Data Historical data package around a year ago... around the same time Sci decided to go 100% systems based. I haven't pursued it yet though as my circumstances since then have seen me working two jobs, minimum 6 days/week since then, but am just about to quit one and will finally have quit a bit of time to pursue other things!!

I've not done any coding in it obviously, but have done other basic coding over the years (java & VB) and am confident i'll work it out following the tutorials etc.

What are you all trading? Looks like a few of you may have gravitated to forex? Does forex have an advantage over equities for these sorts of systems?
