Good info for journeyman with all the programming info. I was so daunted by it before i started and its probably what kept me from going to the good software (tradestation, amibroker etc etc) for a year or 2. My base knowledge was some programming classes in year 11 and year 12. Think they taught me the abslutey basic stuff about variables, inputs, functions etc etc. that was 15 years ago and it only took me a week to be able to get sufficient enough that i was good enough in easy language to do whatever i wanted with a bit of cutting and pasting.

I think one of the BTA sponsors for a while was Cesar Alvarez and i have a feeling he specialised in Amibroker and offered courses. I would personally trust any content on that podcast and i think he had a few interviews and was a sponsor so he would be worth looking at for legit training in amibroker.

Just bit the bullet and set up a VPS. Tomorrow im going to start looking at automating parts of my development process. The software wasnt cheap so hopefully my computer knowledge is sufficient to get full functionality.
