Personally if I'd been on the other side (ie reading it for the first time here on HC) I'd be pretty annoyed indeed that yet again IR are releasing important stuff this way. Instead of through the company blog or other general release place.
So who else knew or had any idea that the Verizon contracts signed month's ago, actually only went live in Feb?
The time gaps from signing to going live seem incredible, no wonder if the same thing is happening with content providers etc that revenue projections are so far out.
Clearly we're going to need to factor in a much longer delay in everything going forward, so the next time a Telco signs up, we shouldn't expect the good news to have an instant impact on the business because in reality is going to be about 2 or 3 months before, its live and starting to generate first revenue, even although Rahul's said it shouldn't take a week to make them compatible. So now a 2 week gap needs to be 3 months to be safe in your estimations.

Now having said that, its also clear from the email that this Verizon contract is multi-pronged, quite possibly in ways that we haven't even imagined yet. Very Extensive. The ground work is clearly in place (platform built ! excuse the pun), its now just a case of waiting & watching for the roll-out of the revenue generating parts of it.

To me it looks as simple as the difference between a straightforward technical rollout effort and a much more complex establishment of necessary surrounding business processes and associated staff training, etc.
