Reading between the lines it seems like Verizon are using some part of the SDK for their basic zero rating classification technology something core like the packet inspection and the SDK was used in the dev of Appflash hence the handset name drop.
Great news if the core integration is being paid for by every APP that accesses it, bad news if that core integration is the reason 250k or so was paid up front. The size of licensing payments next qtrly should give a pretty good indication.
