BYOD what does it really mean is it we own a phone or ipad we use for work, the and company pays for the for selected data used for our company email address, logging onto the company server ect. Or is that just the tip of the iceberg and BYOD is more than we think. Can BYOD be any device that uses data? Can any company can supply data for an example BMW sell a self drive car, and for a set period (warranty period) your devise the BMW has free data for for the self drive system and computer maintenance ( a fault sent by the car, and repaired during shut down by the company or an upgrade ). The marketplace is competitive this type of service (watchdog) is offered by many machinery company's at a price, how far can BYOD reach the consumer market and in what form, can what we see be just the beginning.
