Syntonic rolls out sponsored data service for the iPhone

Syntonic (ASX:SYT) has launched its global sponsored data service for the iPhone, doubling its addressable audience to 140 million U.S. post-paid subscribers on the AT&T and Verizon networks.
The company’s shares were last trading at$0.035, up 9.4% intra-day.
The Freeway by Syntonic 2.0 app offers sponsored data to mobile subscribers by letting content providers pay for data on behalf of customers.
Several global content providers have already embraced Freeway’s cross-carrier reach, including Perform Group, a digital sports content and media group.
These companies are exploring sponsored access to premium movies, television shows, sporting events, sports programs, videos and other entertainment options for U.S. mobile subscribers.
